This 4-ingredient slow cooker creamy ranch pork tenderloin is exactly the kind of dinner that saves busy weeknights at my house. You get a tender, savory pork roast and a rich, creamy sauce with almost no prep, which makes it perfect for those days when work runs long but you still want something that feels homemade. It leans on classic ranch flavor and pantry staples for a simple, comforting meal that tastes like it took much more effort than it really did.

Serve this pork tenderloin over mashed potatoes, buttered noodles, rice, or even creamy polenta so none of that ranch sauce goes to waste. For sides, I like something easy and fresh like steamed green beans, roasted carrots, a simple side salad, or broccoli, and if you're feeding a hungrier crowd, warm dinner rolls are great for soaking up the extra sauce.

Ingredients

1 whole pork tenderloin, about 1 1/2 to 2 pounds

1 packet dry ranch seasoning mix, about 1 ounce
1 can condensed cream of chicken soup, 10 1/2 ounces
1/2 cup chicken broth

Directions

1. Place the whole pork tenderloin in the bottom of a slow cooker.

2. Sprinkle the dry ranch seasoning evenly over the top of the pork.

3. In a small bowl, whisk together the condensed cream of chicken soup and chicken broth until mostly smooth, then pour the mixture over and around the pork tenderloin.

4. Cover and cook on low for 4 to 5 hours or on high for 2 1/2 to 3 1/2 hours, until the pork is tender and cooked through.

5. Transfer the pork to a cutting board, let it rest for 5 minutes, then slice and return it to the slow cooker sauce or serve the sauce spooned over the top.

6. Serve warm with mashed potatoes, noodles, or rice and plenty of the creamy ranch sauce.

Variations & Tips

Make it extra savory: If you have a few extra minutes, sear the pork tenderloin in a skillet with a little oil before adding it to the slow cooker. This step is optional, but it adds a little color and deeper flavor.

Thicker sauce: If the sauce seems thinner than you like at the end of cooking, remove the pork and whisk the sauce well. Let it sit uncovered on warm for a few minutes, or stir in a small slurry made with 1 teaspoon cornstarch and 1 teaspoon water.

Use the right cut: Pork tenderloin works best for this recipe because it stays tender and cooks fairly quickly. Avoid substituting pork loin without adjusting the cooking time, since it is a larger and different cut of meat.

Easy add-ins: For a fuller one-pot meal, add baby carrots or small halved potatoes around the pork at the beginning of cooking. They soak up the creamy ranch flavor and make dinner even easier.

Leftover idea: Slice or shred leftover pork and serve it over egg noodles, rice, or toasted sandwich rolls with extra warm sauce. It also reheats well for lunch, which is one of my favorite ways to get ahead during a busy week.
