My mother-in-law clipped this from a magazine in 1973 and never stopped making it, and it's still the first thing requested at family reunions.
My nana made these with about $3 and the last one was gone by breakfast. Only 4 ingredients.
A neighbor gave me this handwritten index card in 1978. Just three ingredients, but the empty dish at every autumn potluck speaks for itself.
