These southern 3-ingredient buttery sausage fritters are the kind of easy, crowd-pleasing snack that disappears almost as soon as they hit the table. They have that classic savory Southern comfort-food feel, with rich sausage, tender biscuit mix, and buttery flavor baked into every bite. This is exactly the sort of recipe I keep around for busy weeknights, last-minute guests, and game-day spreads when I need something dependable, filling, and ridiculously simple.
Serve these fritters warm with honey mustard, ranch, pepper jelly, or a little hot sauce on the side. They also pair really well with scrambled eggs for brunch, a fruit tray for balance, or a big game-day spread with wings, sliders, and crisp vegetables for dipping.

Variations & Tips
Add a little heat: If your family likes a little spice, use hot breakfast sausage instead of mild. It gives the fritters more kick without changing the easy 3-ingredient formula.
Use a scoop: A small cookie scoop makes these quicker to portion and helps them bake evenly. That is especially helpful when you're making a double batch for a party or game night.
Don’t overbake: Pull them once the edges are nicely browned and the centers are cooked through. Since there is butter in the mix, they stay tender best when not left in the oven too long.
Make-ahead tip: You can mix and shape the fritters a few hours ahead, cover, and refrigerate until ready to bake. This is one of my favorite tricks for busy evenings when I want something hot and homemade without the last-minute scramble.
