Ingredients
2 cans refrigerated crescent roll dough, 8 ounces each
8 ounces thinly sliced deli roast beef
8 ounces Gruyere cheese, shredded or thinly sliced
Directions
1. Preheat the oven to 375°F and lightly grease or line a 9-by-13-inch baking dish or sheet pan with parchment paper.
2. Unroll one can of crescent dough and press it into the bottom of the pan, pinching the seams together to form an even base.
3. Layer the roast beef evenly over the dough, then top with the Gruyere cheese so the filling is spread all the way to the edges.
4. Unroll the second can of crescent dough and lay it over the top, gently stretching as needed and pinching the seams and edges closed.
